How it's modeled

• Peak demand — either entered directly as peak transactions per second, or derived from daily volume × a peak-to-average multiplier.
• Altius capacity — compared against target sustained throughput for the L1 (4,000+ TPS) and the HPEC coprocessor (10,000+ TPS). HPEC scales with hardware, not validators, so demand beyond a single engine is met by scaling out.
• Shared blockspace — a chain you don't own gives you only a slice of total capacity; the editable baseline shows how quickly a shared share saturates under your peak.
